April Sunday School Fun

April 6, 2020

Hi guys   I hope you and your families are all doing well!  I so miss our Sunday mornings together and especially so right now.  Easter is SUCH an important church holiday and not being able to celebrate it together is so very disappointing…

I hope these crafts I’ve picked out for you help you remember why this time of year is so special.  Jesus suffering and dying on the cross to save us all.  His rising from the dead, defeating the devil, and showing everyone that He is more powerful than anything!

He Is Risen!!

I’m including the Easter story for you to read at home and a few crafts:

  • Easter wreath – this wreath lays out Holy Week from Jesus entering Jerusalem thru His ascension (returning up to heaven)

  • Sticker sheet of the tomb – this has plenty of stickers that go with the story in the Bible.Lay it out like you imagine it may have been

  • He Is Risen Box – the box has the stickers and instructions inside.I had hoped to do these with you during Easter breakfast at church – before our egg hunt, but we’ll have to just enjoy next year’s that much more!

This story is a little longer than the others I’ve sent, but I wanted to give you the whole (or most) of Holy Week to read about.

Have mom or dad take a couple pictures and send to me!!  We’re going to share with the rest of our St. Paul’s family just how Sunday School practices social distancing!  My email is Heidi.wood@chutes.com.

Miss you guys!  Sending you lots of virtual hugs!

Stay well,

Heidi
