1 John   2 John    3 John   More!

Starting Sunday, April 14, Pastor will start a new adult Bible study on the epistles known in our Bible as 1 John, 2 John and 3 John.

 

John wrote these brief letters to encourage the early Christians who were struggling with keeping the faith in a secular world and to keep them from being led away by false worldly views!  Sounds like a problem the Church faces today!

 

The key thought John shares is to live in God’s love shown to us in Jesus Christ and to practice that love with those in the faith! However, the love John is referring to is sacrificial love, a concept often lost in a world that is in love with itself!
