Bible study

Sunday Mornings
8:30 to 9:15am before
the worship service
in the downstairs Fellowship Hall

Drop in anytime for a deep Christian discussion on a wide variety of topics.

Videos, books, powerpoint, etc. may be used to spark the discussions.

Please feel free to bring some friends!

Most Fridays evenings 7:30 to 9pm

Following a published study guide, the group engages in friendly discussion about what selected Bible readings say and mean for our benefit.  And before the meeting ends, we take time to pray about various things that concern us.

Newcomers and those who can participate only occasionally are welcome any time!   Contact the church office for more information about this lay led Bible study.

What an awesome way to end a hectic week!

As we continue to remain so busy, one of the first things we drop in our routine is daily devotions. It can be a constant struggle for us all.

One resource that we now have at our disposal is podcasts, that can actually make that long commute a blessing and opportunity. Apps on our phone can prove to be equally useful.

Here are some suggestions to make it easier to set aside some quality time to renew ourselves in God’s word or music:

  • Daily Joy – A 365-day devotional for women

  • Our Daily Bread podcast.

  • Bible in a Year with Jack Graham

  • Lutheran Hour Ministries (see below)

  • The Bible Project

  • Lutheran Public Radio (LPR)

  • The Lutheran Hour

The LHM Mission:

Bringing Christ to the Nations—and the Nations to the Church

Lutheran Hour Ministries offers daily devotions, weekly podcasts, and more!

Check out The Lutheran Hour mobile app,  and their radio show at https://www.lhm.org/sentradio/

A Spanish phrase meaning "way of Christ", is a 3-day retreat (Thursday evening through Sunday evening) twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall.

It is designed as a spiritual and renewal journey for Christians.  Often there are meeting of participants during the year to talk and renew commitments.

Both men's and women's retreats are available.
