What you will find...
Our Current Practice:
In-church services restarted in July. As St. Paul's moves forward we will continue to have one service every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. until further notice. The service is also livestreamed for those who are not comfortable being in the church or are unable to attend. It is a worship service with hymns and songs, and typically lasts an hour.
Communion packets are available to the worshippers as they enter the church. The ushers will hold the trays as they pick up their packet. We realize that some are difficult to open, but this is the safest way to serve communion during this pandemic. Upon direction from Pastor Teklu, the worshippers will eat the wafer and drink the grape juice or vice versa at their pew.
The service follows a setting in the Lutheran Service Book, and hymns are led by our organist, songs are led by the worship team, "Whatever". Items in the service are projected onto two screens at the front.
Due to Covid-19, St. Paul's Sunday School will be virtual instead of meeting in-person every Sunday, September thru May. Children ages 3 through middle school are invited to join.
Younger children are always welcome in our worship services, however if need be, parents and children can listen to the service from within the conference room or in the narthex.
Adult Bible studies are held at 11am every Sunday downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. Those who would prefer to attend, can join via Zoom or conference call.
