What you will find...
Our Current Practice:
Starting in April 2021, Sunday services are at 8:15am Liturgical Worship and 10:30am Praise and Worship, both in-church services; the Praise and Worship service is livestreamed and available to watch online.
Services typically lasts an hour. Bible study and Sunday School is offered between services.
Communion is offered at every Sunday service.
Members can also participate in communion while at home via video.
Communion packets are available to the worshipers as they enter the church. The ushers will hold the trays as they pick up their packet. Upon direction from Pastor Teklu, the worshipers will eat the wafer and drink the grape juice or vice versa at their pew.
The Liturgical service follows a setting in the Lutheran Service Book, and hymns are led by our organist, and at times, songs are sung by "St. Pauli's Girls" choir.
During the Praise and Worship service, songs are led by the worship team, "Whatever". Items in the service are projected onto two screens at the front.
Sunday School is held between services.
Children ages 3 through middle school are invited to join.
Younger children are always welcome in our worship services, however if need be, parents and children can listen to the service from within the conference room or in the narthex.
Adult Bible studies are held between services every Sunday, and by Zoom or conference call.
