Quilters – Annual Quilt Sale a Big Success!

Our quilt sale was more successful than in years past!  It was wonderful having some members from our congregation helping set up on Tuesday evening.  Our ladies didn’t have to move chairs and tables, climb ladders, or move boxes.  And a great big THANK YOU again; your help on Sunday was greatly appreciated as well. Our display was very attractively done using every nook, shelf, and space available. According to our registration forms, it was better attended than last year.  People came from Delaware, Tennessee, and Connecticut, as well as the circle around us.  Many of those who attend every year came with money to spend and they did their holiday and gift-giving shopping.

So far, we have given a check to each quilter for their favorite charity, as well as checks to our church, the local fire department, library, and Ronald McDonald House.  We will carefully consider other charities to support as the year goes on.  I personally feel like we’re not only a family who care about each other, but we are a TEAM, and there’s no “I” in that spelling.  If God will put life in my body another year, I will be in charge again.  No one objected, in fact they were delighted that I wanted to take on this event again.

Helping us publicize this event is the greatest gift you can give us.

Thanks,

Dorothy C.

 St. Paul's Quilters
Mission Tuesdays!

Our mission is to donate handmade quilts to local organizations, hospices, veteran's groups, nursing homes, and treatment centers in order to provide a little warmth and comfort and lift the spirits of those who might benefit.

The Quilters work on charity quilts every Tuesday morning 7am to 12noon (stay as long or short as you like!) in the Fellowship Hall.  We welcome those who would like to join us.
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED - WILL TRAIN!

We also accept donations of bed sheets in good condition (cotton or cotton blend) and fabric to use in our charity quilts.

If you know someone that our quilts could help cheer up, just ask for one!
