Crofton Christian Caring Council (CCCC) was begun in 1984 when local churches were becoming overwhelmed with requests for help.  Ella Mae Zorb, a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Crownsville,  spearheaded the CCCC and approached the other churches in the Crofton area to combine resources to help needy families in the area.  She led CCCC for almost 30 years.

The CCCC generally provides financial assistance for utility shutoff notices, fuel, and stoppages because of nonpayment, and eviction notices.  CCCC may also be able to help with vital prescription drugs.  CCCC does not provide assistance with mortgage payments, hotel bills, phone or cable service.

The Food Pantry is held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (located on the far right side of the church), Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am – 12:30pm.

The Baby Pantry is held at Community United Methodist Church, 1690 Reidel Road, Crofton, (410) 721- 9129- Call the Church Office to make request, time will be arranged for Pick Up at the door.

Clothing Assistance - by appointment only by calling and leaving a message for the Clothing Director.  First Baptist Church, 1690 Crofton Parkway, Crofton, (410) 721-2790.

CCCC has no office – the churches work together, with representation from each church on a volunteer Board of Directors. Funds come from donations made by individuals, churches, and civic groups.
